Appraisers Definition of Value
USPAP requires an appraisal report to
include a citation of the source of the
value of definition used for the appraisal.
The Board often see reports where the
citation if omitted because appraisers are
used to it being part of the language
included in the report by the software
company. Please check your reports
carefully! If the company does not
include the language, you must add it to
your addendum as standard language. |
|
Drive-By Rule Effective August
2007, REAB will no longer award experience
credit for residential appraisals that do
not include both an interior and exterior
inspection (drive-by appraisals). Credit
will be awarded for drive-by appraisals
completed by the applicant prior to August
24, 2007. |
